Undertone is an Autobot aligned Mini-Con in Transformers: Robots in Disguise.

History

Undertone was assigned to Ratchet as a partner after the Autobot was assigned to hunt down fugitive Decepticons; though silent, Undertone proved a resourceful teammate to the larger Transformer, the pair of them capturing a number of targets, including one particularly difficult foe that they managed to secure in a Stasis pod. Shortly thereafter, the pair encountered the Decepticon Clampdown and pursued him only to run into Ratchet's old teammates Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, who were now part of a small group of Autobots hunting down Decepticons on Earth. Undertone and Ratchet were soon recruited to join them on a mission to secure the escaped inmates of the Alchemor a prison ship that had crashed on the planet. The pair worked with Drift, Jetstorm, and Slipstream to rescue their teammate Windblade after she was captured and placed under the guard of Overload; afterwards, they returned to Cybertron aboard the rebuilt Alchemor.
