TryBishop or TRYBISHOP (born Jeremy Hicks in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States[1]), is an American hip-hop artist and producer from Minnesota.[2] He has worked closely with many prominent artists, most notably T-Pain, Jeezy, Dolla, 1500 or Nothin', Da Internz, and Curtis Williams.

Biography

Born Jeremy Hicks in Saint Paul, Minnesota, TryBishop's interest in music began when he was 6 years old.[1] His interest in music continued to grow over the years as he produced his own music and worked with many notable hip-hop and R&B artists around the U.S.[1]

Career

Over the years, TryBishop has produced various songs and been featured with many artists.[1]

Productions

TryBishop produced the song “Movin' It” for Tech N9ne, Beatnick, Wrekonize, and K-Salaam,[3][4] and is also the producer of the album “It’s Complicated” by Da' T.R.U.T.H.[5] Other songs produced by TryBishop include a song for Big K.R.I.T.[3]

Features

In 2012, TryBishop was featured in a song by Christopher Dotson.[6], and also in the song "Thing Now" with T-Pain. Additionally, TryBishop has been featured in songs with well-known artists Dolla and Jeezy.

TryBishop was featured in Auburn’s song “The Birds” in 2014.[7] He was also featured in an album by Curtis Williams.[8]

In 2015, TryBishop was featured in a collaborative EP that also featured 1500 or Nothin', Childish Major, Da Internz, and Prem Midha.[9]

More recently in 2019, TryBishop appeared in the album Vernia with Erick Sermon.[10][11][12]
