Trần Thị Phương Dung
Dung Trần(Pronounce: Zung Chan, born February 20, 1990) is an author, producer, columnist, and real estate entrepreneur. Dung Tran's native name is Tran Thi Phuong Dung; her English name is Elita.
Dung Tran is the founder of B.C. Production, producing music with social themes and positive messages. The music video "Mặt Trời Vẫn Tới Mỗi Ngày" by Dung Trần and her team won two important nominations of the Mai Vàng Award: "MV of the Year" and "Song of the Year" and was honored as the Most Outstanding Work in 2018. In the "Mặt Trời Vẫn Tới Mỗi Ngày" project, Dung Tran took on four roles as producer, song co-writer, scriptwriter, and project manager. She released her latest song on the theme of love and praising the beauty of the soul, called "Somewhere In Her Soul", out in July, 2023.
Dung Tran is currently an ambassador accompanying UNESCO Vietnam in the project "Biosphere Reserve and Zero-waste Journey" and the Clean Up campaign of Xanh Vietnam.
Dung Tran is the author of the books "Nhung Hanh Trinh Me Hoac Bat Tan" and "Mesmerising Journeys - Follow The Voice Of Your Heart.
Early life and Career
Dung Trần has been working part-time while studying since she was in high school. She was a regular collaborator of Music Magazine under the Vietnam Composers Association, and Song Nhac magazine under Phat Tin Media. She also worked as a manager for her family's restaurant and hotel since she was a student.
Dung Trần graduated with a major in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She has had practical experiences in various countries. Dung Trần was invited to be an expert for reality shows and publications on tourism and lifestyle. Responding to the press, Dung Tran said:
“Whenever I come to any country, I always look for its cultural heritage with its typical color, and I love to see the incredible beauty that nature brings. Cultural characteristics are the essence of each country's history, so I always want to learn about it. Interacting with local people and culture makes me happy"
Dung Trần is a lover of sustainable tourism. In response to the World & Vietnam Newspaper under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, Dung Trần said:
"I first heard about sustainable tourism when I was studying Tourism Management. I gained a better understanding of it in later years through my travels to different countries. I saw the potential of sustainable tourism to reduce poverty, conserve wildlife and habitats, provide a more culturally aware experience,and have a significant impact on climate change. Moving towards sustainable tourism has become part of my personal code of ethics. As an optimist, I believe sustainable tourism can make a positive difference to the planet".
In addition, she is also the founder of B.C. Production, producing music with social themes and positive messages to connect people together with love, peace, and solidarity. The music video "Mặt Trời Vẫn Tới Mỗi Ngày" by Dung Trần and her team won two important nominations of the Mai Vàng Award: "MV of the Year" and "Song of the Year" and was honored as the Most Outstanding Work in 2018. Dung Trần can also design and construct the interior by herself. She has appeared as a guest on TV programs such as "Vui Sống Mỗi Ngày" on VTV3, "Thành Phố Hôm Nay" on HTV9, and "Nhà Đẹp Quanh Ta" on THVL to inspire about how young people they can independently design and build their own dream houses.
In 2017, Dung Tran operated a chain of fashion shops and furniture workshops called Elita House in Da Nang City and Ho Chi Minh City.
Dung Tran has contributed, along with her team, to publishing a Tourism & Lifestyle Magazine which was launched in 2020.
In February 2023, Dung Trần announced her new books “Mesmerising Journeys - Follow The Voice Of Your Heart” (English Version) and "Nhung Hanh Trinh Me Hoac Bat Tan"( Vietnamese version)
In July, 2023, she released her next song "Somewhere In Her Soul" on the theme of love and praising the beauty of the soul.
Hobbies
Dung Trần can draw, compose, play Piano/ukulele/guitar. She won the first prize in the student singing contest organized by Danang University. She also love to do interior design and write. And Dung Tran is a travel enthusiast.

"The COVID-19 pandemic has cast a shadow over the world for more than two years. Dung Tran has contributed to the national vaccine fund to help Vietnam overcome the pandemic. Dung Tran has also helped orphans in SOS Children's Village since she was a student until now. Dung Tran has also participated in blood donation activities, calling for people to donate blood to help patients. She said, 'Blood is the most precious gift that anyone can give to another - the gift of life. The decision to donate blood can save a life, or possibly many people, as your blood can be separated into different components - red blood cells, platelets, and plasma - which can be used individually for many patients.'
And she has carried out afforestation activities. Answer to interview, Dung Trần said:
"I love nature and forests. Forests reduce risks of natural disasters such as floods, landslides, climate change. Forests create biodiversity and balance by ecology. Without forests, many creatures would have nowhere to call home. We depend on forests for our survival, from the clean air we breathe every day, so it is important to preserve and regenerate them"
Dung Trần is currently an ambassador of Xanh Vietnam- the Clean Up campaign which has spread to more than 30 countries.
