Spy-Eye is a heroic Guardian GoBot who turns into a jet.
Like most GoBots, Spy-Eye has numerous abilities because of his robotic body. He can survive in space and is super-humanly strong and tough. He can fly in robot mode and project energy blasts from his hands. His body heals quickly when supplied with energy. He can turn into a jet fighter.
Jetting about at lightning speeds, Spy-Eye sweeps in and out of the Renegades' camp without them even knowing! Cy-Kill had better keep his top secrets under cover or this Guardian will sneak in, eye them over, and sneak out -- without a trace!
Although Spy Eye did not appear in the Challenge of the GoBots animated series he did appear in a toy commercial story. The Super GoBots arrived by land, sea and air, with Raizor, Spy Eye, Throttle and Super Couper sought out Vamp, Night Fright and Clutch.
Spy-Eye was featured in the 2016 Ask Vector Prime story Echoes and Fragments, set during the events of The Transformers: The Movie. The manipulations of the evil Gong and Sideways resulted in various GoBots, Rock Lords and Starriors swapping places with characters during the events of that film. Spy-Eye was obliterated by Starscream at the battle of Guardian City.
Spy-Eye appeared in the episode 34 story "Once Braxis Twice Shy Part 2". under the control of Doctor Braxis, Ace and Spy-Eye searched for the fleeing Turbo, Scooter, Matt, Nick, and A.J., but the fugitives eluded them.
Spy-Eye appeared in the episode 48 story "Double Dribble". He and Wrong Way were sent on a secret mission aboard Cy-Kill's Thruster.
