Spiral is a fictional character from the Transformers series.

Transformers: Armada

Spiral is leader of the Street Speed Mini-Con Team in the Transformers: Armada and Transformers: Cybertron stories.

Fictional biography

Armada biography: The three vehicles in the Street Speed Mini-Con Team all have one thing in common: the ability to work with precision at record-breaking speeds. Their turbo-charged escape capabilities make them key elements in Autobot reconnaissance missions, and they gladly race to the front line in battles against the Decepticon forces!

Cybertron biography: The talent of the members of the Street Speed Mini-Con Team for working in tandem while racing at top speed across a battlefield or crowded city freeway has made them invaluable as spies and scouts for the Autobots. All three are in love with racing, and they sometimes disappear for weeks to compete in the Speed Planet rally circuit.

Animated series

The Spiral first appeared in Transformers: Armada episode #15, "Gale". Her panel was detected near highway construction. After a battle between the Autobots and Decepticons, the Autobots won and released her. Once among the Autobots she offered to give Fred a ride. In this episode the humans mistook her for a male Mini-Con.[1]

Spiral was next seen in the possession of the Decepticons in episode #17, "Conspiracy". How she came to be in the possession of the Decepticons is unknown.[2]

Comics

Dreamwave Productions

Spiral appeared in issue #9 of the Transformers: Armada comic, appearing among the Mini-Cons living on Earth's moon. In issue #11 the Mini-Con base on the moon was attacked by the Decepticons. Spiral and other Mini-Cons escaped in a rocket to Earth. In issue #12 the rocket crashed in Alaska. In issue #14 the Mini-Cons were recovered, reactivated and brought to the Autobot base. In issue #18 Spiral was among the Mini-Cons who helped Over-Run use the Mini-Con Matrix to defeat Unicron.

Spiral had a biography printed in the Dreamwave Production series Transformers: Armada - More Than Meets The Eye. This biography established that she was a female Mini-Con.

Transformers: Mosaic

Spiral appeared in the Transformers: Mosaic story "The Thrill of Victory" by Master Fwifflo.[3]
