Sarah Jeffries is a registered nurse in Los Angeles, California.[1] She moved to LA in 2012 with her husband Tony Jeffries, an Olympic bronze medalist from the Beijing olympics.[2]

Sarah was a reg nurse in the Accident and Emergency department at Sunderland Royal Hospital from 2007 until leaving in 2011 where she began the journey with her then fiance Tony to obtain a green card for the USA for Tony's professional boxing training camps before retiring in 2012.[1] Sarah has been a registered nurse in the USA since 2012 after passing her USA nursing board exams to be able to transfer her nursing license from the UK to the US.[1]

Sarah began her working career at Sunderland Royal Hospital as a domestic on the Post natal department while attending Northumbria University, she then transferred to South Tyneside Mental health unit as an auxiliary nurse assisting Registered nurses to look after patients sectioned under UK mental health act.[3]

Upon starting her university nursing placements full time, Sarah moonlighted as an auxiliary nurse throughout Sunderland Royal Hospital. Upon gaining a diploma from Norhumbria university (3 years in total) sarah was employed full time in Accident and Emergency as a new graduate Registered Nurse where she remained for 3 years. Upon this time Sarah was an infection prevention champion and was also a team leader overlooking junior nurses while caring for patients in the resuscitation room and main A&E.[3]

Sarah then resigned from her post in early 2011 to travel to Los Angeles with fiance (Tony Jeffries) where she studied fulltime in preparation for the NCLEX USA board of nursing exam and also started an online business selling vintage clothes.[4] Once she passed the NCLEX her employment in the USA started in the Emergency room for Providence health services in 2013 where she gained more experience in the ER. Sarah then soon began online classes with Derby University to gain a Masters of Science in Nursing in 2019[5] She was then given the role as the Emergency Department Clinical Nurse Educator, providing CEUs to Local EMS and educating the ER nursing staff as well as collaborating with hospital administration to create and implement policies and procedures in line with CA Nursing board Practices.[6] To date 2021; Sarah's most recent role is recorded as Sepsis Coordinator for Providence Health care services.[7]

Sarah has a YouTube channel and Instagram page that promote health and wellbeing educational videos and posts.[8] Sarah is now a certified sleep coach and her goal is to help educate people on the benefits of sleep via her social media platforms.[9]

Personal life

Sarah and her husband, Tony are now US citizens and permanently reside in the USA, LA, California. They have 3 daughters.[10]
