Rxchie
Rxchie ( born May 7) is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. Known for his supporting roles in comedies as a teenager, he has since expanded to leading roles in independent films and Video Games. Rxchie has built an impressive career as an voice actor , rising feature film star and emerging recording artist.
Early Life
Micah Javon Cooper (born May 7) was born in Paris, France. His father is of African American and French descent, and his mother is of African American and Samoan descent. As a young child, he watched "The Jacksons: An American Dream" and fell in love with music. Cooper taught himself to sing and dance at a young age and began to perform in his church choir and several local talent shows. At the same time, he started a music group with three friends. Cooper spent most of his time at school trying to write his music and become relevant. By fourteen, he started singing and became very interested in rapping. Cooper played football for the Los Angeles Romans. His football skills earned him a scholarship to play for the Jackson State Tigers at Jackson State University, but he decided instead to focus more on music. After finishing high school, cooper supported himself by working at the local library and Pizza Hut. He earned enough money to produce his first song, which he then sent to dozens of radio stations.
Career
Cooper initially gained notability following the release of his debut single, "Tings," which peaked at number 6 on the numberonemusic chart for seven weeks. Someone at Disney heard the song and decided to add it to radio Disney's incubator program, which features upcoming musicians. Cooper became even more well-known after many artists remixed his singles "Love More" and "10 toes down challenge" and made them even more popular. He has then performed at venues across the country, including, The House Of Blues, Bradley Center, and the Navy Pier. For Giving Back: 2018, cooper donated $10,000 to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Alongside his work in the music industry, Rxchie has pursued an acting career. In 2013, he made his on-screen feature film debut in Antisocial. Cooper has won several awards throughout his career, including an AAFCA award, an Emmy Award, and a Nominee for the CinemaCon Award.
Business ventures
Rxchie made a significant impact in fashion with the viral success of his "TOP TIER" beanies. In 2021, he further diversified by launching his fashion brand, RXCH. The brand quickly expanded, opening pop-up stores across the United States and officially launching its web store the following month. RXCH products, including the iconic "TOP TIER" beanies, soon became available through various retailers, cementing RXCH's presence in both the music and fashion scenes.
