Rohit Kumar, also known as the investigator and news creator, is an Indian journalist and social activist from Delhi, India.[1] He is presently the director and chief editor of News India 9.[2]

Rohit Kumar is best known for his TV program "Koi Sataye Hame Bataye," supported by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (Government of India). He makes a significant contribution by sharing stories, creating awareness about society, and helping poor people improve their lives.[3]

Early Life

Rohit Kumar was born in New Delhi into a Hindu family on December 30, 1991.[4] His parents are Mr. Kishore Kumar and Mrs. Kanchan, who raised such a responsive, hardworking, and outspoken individual. He did a Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication at the New Delhi Institute of Information & Technology.[5]


Some people are born with few skills and interests in themselves. One of them, Rohit Kumar, has had a keen interest in journalism and mass communication since childhood. He began studying mass communication and journalism after finishing his schooling at St. Columba's School.

At the New Delhi Institute of Information and Technology, he graduated with a master’s degree in journalism and mass communication.

After that, Journalist Rohit Kumar began his professional career and worked for numerous news channels, including Zee, Channel One, Live 24, and many others, gaining years of journalism experience. He currently holds the positions of Director and Chief Editor at News India 9 Media & Broadcasting Pvt. Ltd.

With the establishment of his successful career, he decided to make another beautiful decision in his life and married Nikita. Now, they are both blessed with a sweet and beautiful daughter named Ananya.
