Reece Martin is a Canadian computer programmer and transit enthusiast.[1][2][3] Martin has broadcast dozens of videos, on YouTube, focussed on transit issues.

In 2021 Martin's YouTube gained popularity among journalists, who wanted to write about transit, who started quoting Martin, and introducing his videos to their readers. In March 2008 Laura Hanrahan, writing in the Daily Hive, focused an entire column to Martin's exclamation as to why Lower Bay station was abandoned.[4] Stephen Fesler, an urban planner in the Puget Sound region, introduced nine of Martin's videos to his readers, in 2022.[5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14]

On April 10, 2022, TV Ontario's flagship news-show, The Agenda, broadcast an 8 minute interview with Martin, about the Province's plans to integrate the fares all transit agencies in the Greater Toronto Area.[15]

On February 2, 2023, Translink, Vancouver's transit agency, profiled Martin, and a video he made on transit in Vancouver.[16][17]

On April 4, 2023, Gill Deacon interviewed Martin about Metrolinx opening of the Davenport Diamond, on GO Transit's Barrie route, for CBC Radio's Here and Now Toronto news show.[18]

In May 2023 Metrolinx invited Martin to take an advanced tour of the not yet open Eglinton Crosstown, and then profiled him and the YouTube he made from that tour.[19]
