Transformers: Generation 1

He is an Autobot and part of the mini-cassette team. He has no robot mode, only a jet and cassette mode. He can form with Grandslam to form Slamdance.

As a member of the Autobot communications sub-group Raindance frequently worked with its other members - Blaster, Eject, Grand Slam, Ramhorn, Rewind and Steeljaw.

The death-defying daredevil of the skies. Willing to take any risk to record the best picture. With partner Grand Slam, he's covered thousands of battles. Entertains everyone with stories about each one of them. Witty and well-liked. Can video-record up to 20 years of pictures. Carries two self-defense air-to-air proton missiles. Combines with Grand Slam to form robot Slamdance.

He first appeared in Marvel Comics, battling Decepticon presence on a resort island.[1]

Raindance was among the Autobot resistance during the Age of Wrath, shown in the third War Within series.[2]
