Nightmare and Sleepy are fictional characters created by Hillman Comics.
Fictional History
Bob White was a professional boxer traveling the country to compete in matches with his teen manager Terry Wake. One night as they were heading to their next match the town was held hostage by the super villain the Checker. Bob and Terry were original going to a costume party after the fight but ended up getting involved with stopping the Checker's evil plans. Using their costumes to hide their identities they became known as Nightmare and Sleepy and put a stop to the Checker's plans.
Other enemies include the Corpse, the Crooked Nine Professor Froot and the Undertaker.
