Manonesh Das, a son of a freedom fighter's family in the War of Liberation, was born in the village of Mujati in Ward No. 2 of Muktagachha Upazila and grew up on Paratangi Bara Masjid Road. His father's name was Bhavesh Das and his mother's name was Mira Das.
