Momtaz Fakir High School is located in Nalchia village of Bhuapur Upazila in Tangail District, Bangladesh. Ekushey Padak and National Film Award-winning musician Lokman Hossain Fakir founded the school on 1st January 1987. The total area of the school is 2.66 katha; of this there is an academic building of 0.44 katha and a playground of 0.72 katha.
Description
The school was established on 1 January 1987 and received academic recognition as a Lower Secondary School in 1989. In 1993, the ninth grade was allowed to open and from 1994 it was recognized as a secondary school. The school was affiliated to MPO as a High School in 2000.
Success
The current pass rate in this school is about 93%. Based on SSC GPA 5 of 2020, the school has earned the distinction of being the third best educational institution in the upazila. Consistently performing in Junior School Certificate and SSC.
