Minor bullying is considered by some people to be an issue in schools. However, it is not officially acknowledged in anti-bullying media.

What is Minor Bullying?

Minor bullying is a type of bullying where a large group of people insult an individual every time they see them. It is not organized, rather, each bully does it of his own volition. Individually, non of the bullies does anything particularly bad. The problem is that the combined effect of all the bullies can become an issue for the victim.

Minor Bullying vs Baking

The main differences between minor bullying and Baking:

  • Baking is organized, minor bullying is not
  • Minor bullying can start on its own, but Baking cannot be done without bullying happening first; it is in retaliation
  • Baking is usually by a smaller number of people
