Mindset is a character in the Transformers franchise.

History

Generation 1

Marvel Comics

Decepticon Mindset appeared briefly in the Marvel Comics Transformers series, where he was assigned a mission to wipe out organic life in order to draw Optimus Prime into conflict with his master, Jhiaxus. Not considering non-Cybertronian life to be life at all, Mindset wondered at the purpose of his assignment but carried it out dutifully. However, his thoughtlessness in terms of organic life was rewarded when the Swarm consumed him without a thought despite his efforts to fight them.

Films

Though not featured in the Transformers film series, Mindset was included in the toy line, though this time as an Autobot.
