Mahmudul Hasan was born on Bhola and brought up in Narayanganj, Bangladesh. His ancestral home is in Chapri in Tazumaddin of Bhola. He attended Meghnaghna Shilpanagari School And Collage in Sonargaon. His father, Mawlana Habibur Rahman, is an Imam. A few years later, he went to Jamia Babus Salam in Hazrat Shah Jalal International Airport. He completed his graduation from Jamia Madania Jatrabari.
