After the Liberation War, Kahaloo Degree College was established in 1973. The College is situated in a heavenly place at 8 km west of Bogra district town, Bangladesh, beside the Kahaloo Railway Station. Along with the Railway communication the College is connected with multidirectional road network. Kahaloo Degree College started with a straw shaded one stored house built of soil. With the great effort of Founder Principal Md. Hossain Ali for almost four decades, the College has achieved the quality of a complete educational institution with stable infrastructures. The College offers courses for Science, Humanities and Business Studies groups at HSC level and 26 subjects for B.A./B.S.S/B.B.S/B.Sc. Courses. In 2001-02 Session at HSC(BM) group 5 trades were introduced. Moreover, the College offers 4 subjects Political Science, Accounting, Management and Sociology for the Honours Degree. There is a Central Library and a number of laboratories and seminars for different subjects.
