Mr. Kelly believes in public service and giving back to the community and devotes a large part of his time to these efforts. Early life
J.L. Kelly comes from a distinguished line of public servants including his Grandfather's brother, Ross S. Sterling, serving the Great State of Texas as it's 31st Governor. Additionally his father, James L. Kelly serving Montgomery County Texas as it's President of the Emergency Services District along with the Montgomery County Fire Department.
Education
J.L. Kelly attended Texas A&M University. He was a meritorious student as he received his B.S. in Civil Engineering before attending Law School and earning his J.D. (Juris Doctorate).
Career
J.L. Kelly worked for several large law firms in Colorado and Texas before being named Bison ProFab, Inc.'s Executive Vice President and General Counsel. As the chief legal officer and chief compliance officer of the company, Mr. Kelly oversees Bison’s legal affairs, including corporate governance, labor and employment law, development law, litigation, and corporate and regulatory compliance.[2]
