Ishell Vaughan
Ishell Vaughan (Born April 19, 1991) is a professional film maker, cinematographer, and the Founder and Owner of "Ishell Vaughan Films"[1](media and entertainment company operating and shooting production level drones) director of photography for feature films, director and producer for music videos and commercials for short films, commercials and stock footage.[2] Ishell’s background with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from DeVry University, coupled with 9 years’ worth of working experience has enabled him build a successful brand and career.[3]
Biography
Education:
- Preschool to 6th grade: Hawthorne Avenue School (Newark NJ)
- 6th - 8th grade: Abington avenue school (Newark NJ)
- High school: 9th to 10 grade (science high school Newark NJ)
- 11th - 12th Elizabeth High School
- College: Devry University - Electronic Engineering.
Filmmaker career:
Ishell’s career started as an amateur photographer taking pictures at a baby shower.[4]
Created the "Ishell Vaughan Films" company in 2011. Assistance in setting up the company was provided by Jewel Noir Cinema[5] (owners Sylvia and Brenda Edmonson)
Throughout his career he has worked with such major companies as: Lamborghini[6], BET, MTV, VH1, Akon[7], French Montana, BMW[8], Porsche[9] and GQ magazine.[10] Filmed video clips for such musicians as Bebe O’Hare[11],Ransom, Lil Durk[12], 1 Shot Sha[13], AG Cubano[14], ThirdLanePrez[15], Maino and O-Wave[16][17]. Also he supervised the filming of the "Mad" project[18][19] with Shana DeAndrea's[20]: Ishell also has a history of winning the NY Film Festival. Worked with Nimi Hendrix (Secret Society Motion Pictures[21]) and also Rock Davis (Itchy House Films[22]) in early years.
Ishell is the head of The Raw Sessions, which works with emerging artists. Today, Ishel is working on the project "My First Film"[23], in which he worked as a director of photography. Also in the work is a project for the release of digital assets for filmmakers along with goods.[24]
His hobbies are cinema, anime, traveling, driving on the race track and autotuning.
