Ironfist is the name of three fictional characters from the Transformers series. The original Ironfist was introduced in 1992. He is a high ranking Autobot weapons expert who turns into a Humvee. He is sometimes called Fisitron, an anagram of his name.

Transformers: Generation 2
Ironfist is a high ranking Autobot who likes big guns. His biography portrays him as strong and silent.
In IDW comics Ironfist is depicted as a gushing fanboy of the Wreckers.
In Fun Publications he is depicted as being an member of the Autobot Elite Guard under the command of Metalhawk. He calls his teammate Over-Run and Dion by the nicknames Runny and Sailor.
Ironfist had a full page biography in issue #36 of the Transformers Collectors Club magazine. [1]
Animated series
Mech IDeas Gauntlet appears in the 2016 fan-made animated series Transformers: Ascension. He is depicted as the Autobot Ironfist in the season 1 episode #3 story called "Incursion". He appears in the Autobot headquarters, expressing his concerns about the details of a combat story told by Rodimus. Ironfist is voiced by Mason Brown.[2]

In The Coming Storm part 1 the Elite Guard Alpha Team and Strike Team did battle against a horde of ferrovorous bugs in one of Cybertron's city-states. Magnum then ordered the Strike Team to escort the Alpha Team to Space Port Bravo for their next mission. The Strike Team then reported to Magnum and Sentinel Major, who introduced them to the new Elite Guard Special-Ops Team, also called the Combaticons.[3][4]
Ironfist appeared in Flames of Yesterday.[5]
In "The Coming Storm part 2-6" While on patrol Onslaught told Metalhawk the story of how his Elite Guard team captured Thunderwing. Metalhawk then told Onslaught about how his team captured Blue Bacchus. The teams of Elite Guardsmen then came across a Decepticon who was seperated from his group. Brawl was able to get the location of a Decepticon base from the captive before he went offline. The Guard teams fround the base and were able to kill Shadowcaster, the base's leader. Metalhawk's team reported to Magnum, but the Combaticons stayed to investigate, Onslaught thinking their victory was too easy. They were captured by Decepticons.[6] Metalhawk and his Strike Team were searching for Decepticons when they ran into a crazy "empty" who ranted about the coming of the "brute". They received a distress signal from Sentinel Major ordering all Elite Guard units to return base. When Metalhawk's team arrived at the base Ricochet told them of a Decepticon attack. Among the attackers are the Combaticions, but when Sentinel Major orders them to surrender, they combine into Bruticus and crush Sentinel Major. [7] When most of the members of the Autobot Elite Guard confronted Bruticus they were nearly wiped out, with Bruticus killing most of the Guard. Dion was able to blind Bruticus, forcing it to seperate into the Combaticons, but the Combaticons finished off most of the remaining Guard, including Metalhawk, who was killed by Onslaught. This left only Dion burried alive, burried in the rubble, and Thunderclash's team, which was off planet at the time. [8]
Ironfist returned in "Battle Lines", where it is revealed that he and several other Elite Guard survived the attack by Bruticus. The arrived in time to help Magnum's team against the Decepticon forces of Deathsaurus. [9] Ironfist is among the Autobots present when Megatron attacks Iacon with his new weapon, Devastator.[10]
IDW Publishing
Ironfist appears in the Last Stand of the Wreckers comic by IDW Publishing where he is depicted as a fan of the Wreckers.[11][12]

Transformers Animated
The second Transformer Ironfist was created as an exclusive to BotCon 2011. He is an homage to the Generation 2 character. He is called Ironfist in fiction, but the toy was called Fisitron for trademark purposes.
Fictional biography
Fisitron is an overly enthusiastic maker of tools, and the genius behind some of the most effective weapons in the Autobots' arsenal. In his cozy lab he makes whatever comes to mind. For each strange gizmo he dreams up, he also manages to develop devices that can turn an Autobot into a one-bot wrecking crew. He always keeps a pair of nucleon shock gauntlets handy. Although Fisitron created Optimus Prime's laser axe, it is often credited to his rival Skyfall.
Fun Publications
Ironfist appeared in the Transformers: Timelines story "The Stunt-Con Job". After the events of Transformers Animated Ironfist was attacked in his workship by the Stunticons. Toxitron was arrested for the assault.[13]
His tech spec appeared on a lithograph sold at BotCon 2011.[14]

Transformers: Timelines
A third Ironfist was introduced in 2014 in the Transformers: Timelines toy line. This character is supposed to represent Ironfist/Fisitron in the Prime continuity.
Fictional biography
Ironfist was an assembly line worker in the factories of Polyhex, known only for a modest and agreeable personality that brought people together around him. None would have suspected that his profession was a front for his true passion as an underground weapon designer, for which he was known across the infosphere by the alias "Fisitron". When Ultra Magnus appeared at the factory one day and asked for him by name, Ironfist immediately thought that his illegal hobby had gotten him arrested, but the truth was even stranger: unknown to him, a routine physical examination had shown the origins of his mechanical genius to be a "combination spark" - a rare genetic mutation giving him the potential to innately bond and interface with other machines. Welcomed by Magnus as a new member of the Wreckers, the days of "Fisitron" having to conceal his true nature are long past, as he proudly discovers new ways to lend his ever-growing abilities to the Autobot war effort.
