Samuel Oluwaseun Adeyemi (born 13 August 1998), popularly known by their stage name Harladay SZN, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer. His music overextends to make numerous genres but specifically based on a tropical and RNB sound of Afrobeat.[1]

His continuous growth musically after each release has been outstandingly astonishing. Harladay is currently unsigned. He’s very determined to dominate the industry in the coming years. People love the crisp sounds and significant lyrics that he spits in the song.[2]

He is an inspiration for the music industry. Since he set foot in the game, he has been lauded for his reality and originality. Some say he even brings another fusion and sound, fiercely diverging from today’s mainstream PC narration. He can create original music because he is a writer-composer, producer, and engineer. His ability to combine all three of these talents into something completely unique, the release Melo is currently sitting and it appears to be a success among his loyal devotees [3]

Harladay SZN released, his debut EP Stronger in December 2020, supported by a feature on “Dreams” featuring [Nigerian] rapper Iiicy. In anticipation of his birthday (13 August 2021) the singer Harladay SZN decided to make a release In celebration of the moment

In 2022, Harladay SZN announces on his social media platforms the change of his stage name from Icon Spielberg to the present Harladay SZN to be effective in July. 5, 2022[4]

Early life

Samuel Oluwaseun Adeyemi was born on 13 August 1998, in Kaduna, Nigeria. His father Adegboyega Adeyemi is a Pedagogy and his mother Folashade Adeyemi is a businessperson. Harladay SZN is the youngest of three siblings and his father's second-born son. He attended the Federal Government College in Kaduna, Nigeria. He graduated with a National Diploma in Computer Science at Kaduna Polytechnic and later he moved to the capital to study Computer Science at National Open University of Nigeria in Abuja.

Harladay SZN joined a musical group after finishing Federal Government College and recorded a couple of songs. In 2019 he decided to make his music official and may saw it as a comeback fot the rapper. [5] He made his first official release Bad Bad as a singer [5] He worked with Dj Jozzy and Worldwyade to form the music at Aspire Studios. Harladay SZN dropped out another dancehall vibe to pursue music full-time with the release of Gyal.[6]


Musical career

2020–2022

Stronger

Harladay SZN started working on his debut extended play Stronger in 2020. The extended play's music is a mixture of Afrobeats, Tropical Music and hip hop. Harladay SZN worked with Iiicy, Lyquid Mix, OMJ, Major Stringz, Burst Brain and Dy Mix to produce the extended play. The extended play included tracks titled Dreams, Hustle, E B Thingz, International and Wildin.[6]

Melo

On August 13, 2021, Harladay SZN released the Major Stringz-produced track "Melo".under VOK Music [7]

Personal life

Harladay SZN has more of a quiet life after moving back to Kaduna to continue his Higher National Diploma alongside his pursuit for a bachelor’s degree. He has gone AWOL as we expect his second extended play for this year 2022
