Hamza Qassim (Born December 20, 2003) is a Jordanian Model. Raised in Amman, Jordan, Over the span of 2 years, Qassim has been seen in multiple international Vogue magazine appearances, including the Vogue website and Vogue Polska. He was seen modeling for designer brands such as Trashy Clothing where he was featured on Mille Magazine and W Magazine, he started his modeling career (aged 15), In 2019, working with local Jordanian Brands, Like FNL and Moustache, which gave him the experience he needed to work with bigger designers and to work internationally, after moving to London in 2022, Qassim made his debut in London Fashion Week AW22, Under Fashion Show Live, Modeling for Multiple designers, including JAQKODI. Early life
Qassim was born in Amman, Jordan, on December 20, 2003, his childhood basically comprised of doing many Sports, which led him to have a black belt in taekwondo, and shifting into basketball, his talent in basketball, got him to travel many places as a young athlete, as he participated in championships in Italy, Lebanon and Germany, he started getting noticed by scouts for American Teams, and got into the U18 National Team, of His country Jordan, then started getting scholarships to play in the US, until one day, he got an ankle injury, that was a major setback in His career as an athlete, he saw this as an opportunity to try new things, which led him to try modeling, He started hismodeling career at the age of 16, working with local Jordanian brands such as FNL and Moustache. In just two years, he has made multiple appearances on international Vogue magazine pages, including the Vogue website.
Career
2019-2020: Early work
Qassim, First started his modeling journey, with FNL, (A local Jordanian Label) he was seen shooting for multiple pieces of their Summer 20 Collection.
2021: Rise
After the release of the brand’s collection, Qassim started gaining more attention from the Fashion Industry in Jordan, and started modeling for multiple known brands in the region, like Moustache, He was seen modeling for their SS2021 prêt-à-porter Collection, after that, photoshoots with international Brands started coming Qassim’s way, like Fitella, (A US based brand).
2022– Present : Further recognition
After his experience over these years, Qassim gained more attention and started working with more famous labels, where he was seen modeling for brands like “Etro” and “Trashy clothing”, that featured Qassim, in top world magazines including, Vogue, and W magazine. With this experience, and his move from Amman to London, he had his first debut in London Fashion week under the Event “Fashion show live”.
