Evan Chandler was a dentist, and screenwriter.[1] In 1993 he sued Michael Jackson for abusing his twelve year old son.[2]

Chandler wrote the screenplay for Robin Hood: Men in Tights.[3]

Chandler was criticized by supporters, who claimed the accusations were motivated by avarice, by a desire to punish his ex-wife, who had custody of his child.[4] Supporters of Jackson pointed out that Chandler owed years unpaid child support.

Actress Carrie Fisher, who struggled with substance abuse at various times in her life, said Chandler was her dentist, and that he had been the middleman in introducing her to a compliant anaesthetist, who made house calls, who would provide her with questionable access to prescription drugs for her to abuse.[1]
