Evaldas Gulbinas

Evaldas Gulbinas (born March 21, 1991) is a European fine artist[1] and tattooist.[2][3][4][5] His fine art practice includes sculptures, paintings, digital media,[6] mixed media,[7] and installations.[8][9][10]

Early Life and Education

Gulbinas was born in Lithuania[11], Europe.[12] He got fascinated with art at a very young age and started studying art at the age of 4.[13] Since his teenage years, he started seeing himself in the world of art.[14]

Gulbinas formalized his passion for art by joining National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Art in Vilnius, Lithuania[15] at the age of thirteen.[16] After moving to London, he pursued his passion further and completed his Foundation in Art and Design from West Thames College.[17] He acquired a BA honors in Fine Arts and Mixed Media from the University of Westminster[18] and a Master's in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art, University of the Arts London.[19]

Career

Currently, Gulbinas creates mixed media artworks.[20] He has worked as a professional tattoo artist for six years[19] and has been featured in magazines such as “Skin Deep Tattoo”, “Total Tattoo”, and “Creates Magazine”.[21][22]

His work is widely acknowledged[23][24] and has been exhibited in famous art galleries including Espacio Gallery,[25] Brick Lane Gallery, and at the Intrusion Exhibition.[26] Gulbinas has received many accolades throughout college and university.
