Started as Edison Chouest Boat Rentals in 1960, the Edison Chouest Offshore (ECO) family of companies is a marine transportation operation.

Based in Galliano, Louisiana, ECO owns and operates a growing fleet of new generation offshore service vessels which support a vast majority of the U.S. Gulf deepwater market[citation needed], as well as a large independently-owned fleet of research vessels. ECO's high-tech, high-capacity offshore vessels range from 87 feet to 348 feet.[1]
