Irfan Khan is a Unani doctor who was captured in July 2005 on suspicion that he was involved in the July 5th, 2005 Ram Janmabhoomi attack in Ayodhya.[1]
Khan was described, by The Tribune as the ringleader of the attack. [2] The Tribune said Khan plead innocence, and that while he knew two of the attackers, it was only because they were patients of his.
