Growing Up Normal was a family comedy television pilot shot in 2008. It was written and created by Jim Pinchak and starred Jimmy Pinchak, Gage Golightly, Beth Shea, and Thomas Garner. The pilot episode also starred Suzan Britton, Rigo Sanchez, Johnny Whitaker, Richard Licata, Stephen Jared, and Arron Fenton.

"" was developed as a prime time family sitcom that followed a New Jersey family who moves to Hollywood to make their children stars.

Synopsis: Two child actors struggle in Hollywood to accomplish the impossible… to grow up normal. Well-intended stage mom, Jeanne Jackson, will do whatever it takes to make her two children stars. Meanwhile, her sports attorney husband Jack, has different plans. Now that he has realized his own dreams by becoming a sports attorney by representing psycho relief pitcher “Freakin” Fernando Flores, Jack’s dream of making Jimmy a Major League player seems closer to a reality. So how does older daughter, Karen fit in? She doesn’t. Since she quit her own prime time television show, (or did she get fired?) Jeanne has focused her attention on Jimmy’s acting career. All that is changing now that Karen wants back in. The family has to struggle on a daily basis with a cast of characters including obnoxious co-worker (Larry), stage mother from hell (Betty Bandito), militant coach (Coach Pete) and of course, difficult client (Fernando Flores).
