An Islamist militant, Adil al-Sudani was executed by Egypt in 1998 for his part in a plot targeting the Khan-i-Khalili marketplace.[1]

In "Exoneration", when Ayman al Zawahiri, currently the leader of al Qaeda, formerly the leader of the Egyptian Jihad, wrote about 100 Egyptian Jihad members executed by the Hosni Mubarak administration, he singled out just four of the executed men, Muhammad Abd-al-Salam Faraj, Khalid al-Islambuli, Ahmad al-Najjar, and al-Sudani.

and  Ahmad Ibrahim al-Sayyid al-Naggar described him as part of the leadership of the Egyptian Jihad.

In 1993, he had helped Ahmad Ibrahim al-Sayyid al-Naggar escape his prison sentence by ferrying him out of Egypt on a false passport to Amman.[1]
