Dart is GoBot. Released as a Renegade in the toy line, he has been portrayed as both Renegade and Guardian in fiction.
Like most GoBots, Dart has numerous abilities because of his robotic body. He can survive in space and is super-humanly strong and tough. He can fly in robot mode and project energy blasts from his hands. His body heals quickly when supplied with energy. He can turn into a motorcycle.
Dart appeared in a flashback in Challenge of the GoBots episode 64 "Et Tu, Cy-Kill" as one of the Guardians on Cy-Kill's team, assigned with moping up remnants of the Renegade army following their unsuccessful revolt. They found the Renegades more powerful than expected, and Cy-Kill was badly damaged. Dart saved his life, but the Guardian team was forced to withdraw. Humiliated, Cy-Kill sounded out his troops about defecting to the Renegades. Dart, along with Fitor, agreed to join Cy-Kill. He later participated in unsuccessful attempt to assassinate Leader-1.
Dart appeared in episode 59, "The GoBots That Time Forgot".
Dart appeared in episode 65 "Mission GoBotron" as a Guardian who flew a Command Center as part of a convoy taking vital materials to Gobotron. Though his Command Center was set on fire by Renegade Thrusters, Dart was nevertheless able to activate the planet's defensive fields and help keep surface casualties down..
In the story Cultural Appropriation by Fun Publications it was revealed that Ace, Bolt, Crain Brain, Dart, Gunnyr, Night Ranger, Slicks, Sparky and Wrong Way were sent to explore Level 51 when the Cataclysm threatened to destroy the GoBots home universe.
Dart was featured in the 2016 Ask Vector Prime story Echoes and Fragments, set during the events of The Transformers: The Movie. The manipulations of the evil Gong and Sideways resulted in various GoBots swapping places with characters during the events of that film. Dart took the place of Brawn in the plot. He was killed by Decepticons on board the shuttle on the way to Earth.
