Cindi Harwood Rose was born in Houston, Texas, United States. She is an American Actor, Actress, Artist and Producer. [1] She is popularly known as a Silhouette Artist. She is the owner of Silhouettes by Cindi & co-founder of the Rose Ribbon Foundation.[2][3]

Career

Cindi Harwood Rose began snipping her way to stardom at the age of 16. Her career began at Astroworld, in Houston, which eventually took her to Disney World and Disneyland. Cindi is considered the world's premier silhouette artist and has sheared celebrities such as Elvis, Liberace, Mama Cass, Queen Elizabeth, Sammy Davis, Peter Fonda, Barbara Bush, and Tony Bennett.[4][5]

Master Silhouette Artist, Cindi Harwood Rose, is the world's fastest silhouette and finest silhouette artist. She can cut over 60 to 100 intricate detailed silhouettes per hour at events, free-hand without the use of a pen or pencil.[6]

Her work has taken her all over the world. Even, Ashley Judd, commented, that Cindi Rose was the only great silhouette artist she has seen, as many just give everyone the same face, and Cindi does not, her work goes into capturing personality.[7]

In 1982 Cindi married a local plastic surgeon, Franklin Rose. The couple has two children Erica Rose and Ben Rose.

Education

While rising in Houston, she attended Bellaire High and studied advanced art. After finishing college, Cindi Rose enrolled in the University of Texas where she graduated in Fine Arts and Journalism. Furthermore, she pursues her career as a Silhouette Artist. [8]
