Christopher Ryangoma Tabaro, (born January 27, 1995) known as Chris Goma, is an American-born Canadian singer-songwriter, arranger, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles, California. He is the co-founder and President of OSIS, along with its sister companies "Ethos" and "Coincare Group".

Early Life

In 1997, Goma's family moved from Boston to Canada with refugee status.[1] Goma was first introduced to music at a young age by his father. He picked up the keyboard at the age of 7. It wasn't until he turned 12 years of age that he picked up his core instrument, the electric bass.

Career

2006-2010: Career Foundations and The Magical Bunch

In 2006, Goma, along with his three siblings formed a band by the name of "The Magical Bunch".

By July 2009, through their father's tutelage and hours of daily practice, the kids were playing a blend of African-inspired jazz, soul, and pop. A year after their first gig, the family band performed at the Ottawa Jazz Festival in Ottawa, Ontario.

2015-Present: From Love Jet to Solo Career

In 2015, Goma was approached by Nathan Cowles with an offer to be a lead vocalist for his new project "Love Jet". Cowles also recruited music industry veterans such as Levi Seacer, Jr., Prince's guitarist and music director, and Rustee Allen, bassist for Sly & the Family Stone. Goma went on to record four songs and performed under stage name "Chris Tabaro" with the Love Jet. [2][3]

Goma featured as lead singer alongside Levi Seacer, Jr. and Rustee Allen in Love Jet's debut music video for "Knee High Boots".

On February 18, 2020, Chris Goma released his debut single "Show Me" featuring Geneva White with Treacherous Records. After releasing his second single, "Passion", on March 25, 2020, L.A. rapper Problem featured it in his short film "A Compton Story".[4]

Goma left the record label "Treacherous Records" in January 2021. He went on to release his first independent EP “Freedom” on January 18, 2022.

Entrepreneurial Ventures

In 2009, Goma met Jalal Ibrahimi, with whom he then went on to co-found a succession of companies as part of the Apotheosis ecosystem: Ethos (2019), Coincare Group (2021), and OSIS (2021).

OSIS

Apotheosis Investments Global, Inc., also known as OSIS, is a blockchain software technology platform. OSIS was founded in October 2021. The company is incorporated in the British Virgin Islands.[5]
