History

The Chaos Trinity formed in order to seek greater power through the dark arts after the Autobots and Decepticons were fractured into smaller groups, and played other factions against each other in order to advance their own causes. They were eventually recruited by the Fallen to aid him in his scheme to awaken Primus so as to alert his master Unicron to Primus' location. He persuaded them to serve him through brute force and the promise of enhanced powers, and under his direction they captured several Cybertronians with "genetic potential" such as Jetfire, Shockwave, Grimlock, and Hot Spot. However, they were defeated when Shockwave's forces attacked their ritual to awaken Primus, who destroyed the Fallen.
