Cape Verde National Police

The Cape Verde National Police is one of the island nation of Cape Verde's two police forces.[1] The National Police answers to the Cape Verde Interior Ministry. The other force, the Cape Verde Judicial Police is under the authority of the Cape Verde Ministry of Justice.

According to Interpol The National Police has four sub-commands, (1) the Public Order Police; (2) the Border Police; (3) the Customs Police; (4) and the Maritime Police.[1]

The National Police has a training academy in Praia, Cape Verde's capital.[2]
