Biography
Benjamin Anderson is a Ghanaian Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, and Fintech developer. Born on the 7th of June, 1992 in Ekumfi Otuam in the Central Region of Ghana to Georgina Nyarkoh who was a teacher by profession, and Dr. Moses Solomon Anderson, a retired medical Doctor until His demise in 2006. His family moved to settle in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region when he was nine years of age. Benjamin attended Angel Educational Complex and then got enrolled in a prestigious Senior High School, Aggrey Memorial Senior High School, and then proceeded to the University of Ghana Business School where he completed his undergraduate education.
Early Life
Benjamin was born in the Central Region of Ghana. He had his childhood education in Angel Educational Complex after His family moved to settle in Kumasi, in the Ashanti region. He assisted his family run a retailing business which was the main source of income for his family. Before age 20, He had occupied several leadership positions including the Vice President of the Ghana United Nations Students Association in Aggrey Memorial School and he was also an active member of the high jump team on Campus. Benjamin became the president of the Junior Common Room (JCR) during his days at the university
Career
Before graduating from the University of Ghana Business School, Benjamin had an opportunity to do an internship with the Ghana Revenue Authority, to ensure a sustainable mobilization of revenue stream for the Government of Ghana. After graduating from the university, Benjamin worked with Bollore Transport and Logistics for a year before starting his own company, Eco Tigers Limited. In early 2018, Benjamin founded Mybitstore after several years of spreading cryptocurrency education and information through Benjamin Anderson Foundation and also investing and trading in cryptocurrencies. He is currently the founder and CEO of Mybitstore, Eco Tigers, and Benjamin Anderson Foundation. He also offers volunteer works for several NGOs including Renel Ghana, Homeland Global, and Benjamin Anderson Foundation.
