Asterionn is a fictional character from the Mythic Legions series introduced in 2016. He is a heroic minotaur in Xylona's Flock.

Asterionn is a fictional character in Mythic Legions series. He is a minotaur and loyal protector of queen Artemyss Silverchord. He is a high ranking member of Xylona's Flock, an assembly of fighters who help protect the elements of nature that give life to the people of Mythoss. He sometimes rides a giant bull as a mount.

Development

The Asterionn toy was funded by the Mythic Legions Action Figures Kickstarter campaign in 2015. Asterionn and Vitus were a stretch goal unlocked when the campaign reached $150,000 in pledges. He was available as a $33 add-on for US backers.[1]

Asterionn was re-released as part of the first Mythic Legions All-Stars wave.

The Mythic Legions All-Stars shipped in February 2017.[2]

Fictional biography

Sworn to protect Castle Silverhorn - a fortress hidden deep in the Greentop forest, Asterionn the mighty Minotaur is the first line of defense for Xylonia’s Flock. As captain of Xylona’s guard, he is the mastermind behind the impenetrable maze of trees, branches and thorns surrounding the castle. With strength and power matched only by his purity of mind and spirit, Asterionn serves as the heart of Castle Silverhorn.

Comics

Asterionn first appeared in Mythic Legions Book 1. He was protecting queen Artemyss Silverchord at Silverhorn Castle when assassins lead by Skapular the Cryptbreaker attacked. Asterionn killed several Urkku with his axe. He swore to follow his queen along side Otho and Orn Steelhide in her quest to find out the truth behind the attack. A biography for Asterionn also appeared in the book.

Toys

A 1:12 scale figure by Four Horsemen. This figure has a new head mold and uses many parts first used on other figures in the line, including the torso first used on Attlus the Conqueror and the belt that was first used by the Bronze Dwarf. Comes with a sword, axe with optional second blade and shield.
