Asom Barta (Assamese: অসম বাৰ্তা) is an Indian Assamese language weekly broadsheet newspaper based in Assam, India.[1][2] The newspaper is published on every Monday.[1]

Asom Barta was first published in January 2020.[1] It is owned and run by AB Private Limited.[3]

Asom Barta is the first Assamese weekly newspaper published on the river island Majuli.[1] The newspaper is published on Majuli and printed from Majuli and Guwahati simultaneously.[2]
