Archibald Eugene Bernard Raeside born in Dublin, lived most of his life in Drimnagh, on Benbulbin Road with his family. Author of The Congo - 1960, The First Irish United Nations Peacekeepers and regular contributor to Ireland's Eye.

Archie was involved with the 35th Dublin Scout Unit in Donore Avenue. Among the positions he held at the 35th were Venturer leader, Air Scout leader and Unit Leader.
