Abdul Rauf is a citizen of Pakistan reported to have been a senior leader in Sipah-e Sahaba Pakistan.[1] Sipah-e-Sahaba was formerly a political party that operated openly, that was subsequently banned. Security officials now describe its members as "militants".

He was reported killed during an action by security officials in the area around Peshawar in late February or early March, 2010.[1]
