Z&Co. was founded by Monaji Zamakhchary, who also currently serves as Partner and Managing Director. Additional partners include Martin Creek, Sarah Gonem and H.E. Abdullatif AlHarthi.
Z&Co. specializes in dispute resolution, regulatory and international arbitration matters, advisory and in-house support, cross-border transactions, corporate, finance, banking, private equity and venture capital and construction.[1]
History
Z&Co. was formed in 2016, after its founder, Monaji Zamakhchary, acquired a local firm. Z&Co. is one of the first institutional legal partnerships in Saudi Arabia.[2]
The firm is known for representing multinational firms and foreign investors in a number of high-profile transactions and disputes[3][4] and for representing the government of Saudi Arabia in a number of key structural reforms.[5]
In 2017, Z&Co. announced a formal agreement with Linklaters, a member of the elite Magic Circle (law firms) headquartered in London[6][7][8]after five years of working together in the Kingdom.[9]
