William John Moore was an early Canadian photographer.[1] He was an early proponent of panoramic photos.

In 1911 he started to work at his brother-in-law Byron Harmon's photographic firm, in Banff, Alberta.[1] In 1913 he acquired a Kodak No. 8 Cirkut, a camera equipped for making panoramic photos.
