Tyrant is a third-party Transformer homage to Generation 1 Galvatron.

This toy should not be confused with Dark Tyrant, a sword made by Dr. Wu.

Development

DX9 Toys posted images of the Tyrant prototype on their weibo page in August 2015. Preorders when shortly after.

DX9 Toys placed color images of Tyrant on their Facebook page in September 2015.

Tyrant was released in December 2015.

Tyrant was featured in an article in the January 2016 issue of Chi Soul Die (模魂志) magazine.
