Tremor and Frequency are fictional characters and third-party Transformer homages to Generation 1 Frenzy and Rumble made by BTS Toys in 2012.

BTS Toys

Tremor and Frequency are Transformers who turns into microcassettes. They are homages to the Decepticons Frenzy and Rumble. Tremor is red and black, like the Generation 1 Rumble toy, while Frequency is blue and purple like the Generation 1 Frenzy toy.

Tremor and Frequency are the first BTS-05 set of microcassettes.

Development

BTS announced Tremor and Frequency in November 2011.[1]

BTS displayed prototype images of the toys in December 2011.[2]

Reception

Tremor and Frequency appeared in the 2013 toy reference book Transforming Collections by Philip Reed.[3]

The Good Morning, Cybertron! podcast for December 5th, 2011 discussed prototype pictures of Tremor and Frequency in the news.[4]

Toys

  • BTS Toys BTS-05 Tremor and Frequency (2012)
An original third-party Transformer mold. Turns from robots to microcassettes and batteries. Comes with 2 figures, each with two weapons and a cassette case. Limited to 1000 pieces.
This toy was recolored into Yin and Yang.
Tremor and Frequency can combine with the Nightfang mold and its recolors.
