Transformers: Cybertron is a toy/story line in the Transformers franchise, known as Galaxy Force in Japan. Both versions have ties to their predecessors Transformers: Armada and Transformers: Energon as part of the Unicron Trilogy, but in the Japanese versions this wasn't initially the case.

Summary

Animated series

The demise of Unicron creates a black hole that threatens all of creation, and only Optimus Prime and his Autobots can stop it. To do so they must counter the threat of Megatron and his Decepticons, and search for the legendary Omega Keys and Omega Lock across Cybertron, Earth, Jungle Planet, Speed Planet, and Giant Planet. They air aided in their quest by a group of human children, several Mini-Cons, the ancient Transformer Vector Prime, and the legendary creator Primus (who notably first appeared transforming from his planet form of Cybertron in this series).
