Early Life

ToMix, also known by his real name Tom Katz, was born into a musical family, with his father being a DJ and his mother a professional singer fluent in various languages.


Growing up surrounded by music, ToMix's passion for the art form was ignited at the young age of 12, heavily influenced by the groundbreaking sounds of artists like Skrillex and Diplo.[1]

Career

In 2013, ToMix joined forces with Amit Genish, forming the well-known duo "ToMix & Genish." Together, they crafted an array of songs, most notably their track "Lam Gana Poo," which resonated with millions of listeners across the globe, gaining considerable recognition.


As time passed, ToMix's love for the house music scene grew, prompting him to embark on a solo project to explore his creative potential further. In 2018, he released his debut single "Spaceship," marking a turning point in his career.[2]


His music showcased a unique and avant-garde sound, characterized by distinctive vocals and innovative basslines, earning him praise and support from renowned DJs like Marshmello, David Guetta, DJ Snake, Hardwell, and many others, all of whom celebrated his Israeli talent.


Collaborating with esteemed record labels such as Tchami's Confession, Laidback Luke's Mixmash Deep, and Don Diablo's Generation Hex, ToMix's releases up until 2020 demonstrated his versatility and established him as a force to be reckoned with in the industry.[3]


In 2023, ToMix introduced the world to his latest single "Sheket" (Quiet), a significant milestone in his career as it marked his first-ever collaboration with his singer mother.[4]
