The Lodge at Torrey Pines is an award winning hotel, in La Jolla, California, near San Diego.[1] [1][2]

Bill Evans, CEO of the family owned Evans Hotel Group chose to keep the hotel open, on March 22, 2020, when many of his local competitors had chosen to close. [3] On March 25, 2020, he announced he had many vacancies, but many of his guests were essential health care workers.[4]
