Thailand, officially the Kingdom of Thailand, is a Southeast Asian nation bordered by Myanmar to the north and northwest, Laos and Cambodia to the east, Malaysia to the south, and the Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand to the southwest. With a population of over 70 million, it is the 20th most populous country in the world. The capital and largest city is Bangkok.

History
