Tai Anthony Savetsila (born February 18, 1980), is a Thai-American business tycoon, philanthropist and politician with close ties to the royal family of Thailand. As a great-grandson of Henry Alabaster and grandson of Siddhi Savetsila former deputy prime minister of Thailand.

Early Life

Tai Savetsila was born at Riverside Hospital in North Hollywood, California, on 18 February 1980 as the fourth child of Suti Pong Savetsila and Toni Irene Judge-Thornton, becoming the first generation of Savetsila's born in America.

Education

Tai was educated at Moorepark College of Business before withdrawing from education to pursue business endeavours in real estate, technology and entertainment.

Career

Going into business at an early age allowed Savetsila to become a millionaire at the tender age of 21. His holdings in various companies and real estate investments amassed the tycoon a fortune north of $50 million.

Philanthropy

In efforts to reduce the homeless epidemic in Los Angeles, California. Savetsila aimed to help the community of Skid Row by teaming up with homeless activist turned Versace model Slick Woods and BLK water to fundraise and donate essentials to the community.

Savetsila is due to partner with cryptocurrency Ryoshi Token and DeAndre Cortez Way, professionally known as Soulja Boy, in an initiative to celebrate humanity and an act of pure giving by helping 20 families on Christmas 2021.

Personal Life

Savetsila married Kacy Lynn Savetsila on December 11, 2010. They reside at their family home in Los Angeles, California and share two children together Landon, 12 and Khloe, 10.

Royal Heritage

Great-grandfather

Tai Savetsila's great grandfather Henry Alabaster, was consular to King Mongkut (Rama IV) during his reign in 1856. Closely working with the King to build the first modern road in Thailand, Charoen Krung Road.

In 1873, Alabaster served as private secretary to King Chulalongkorn (Rama V).

Alabaster had two sons, who both held the rank Phraya and were given the Thai surname Savetsila.

Grandfather

Siddhi Savetsila is a member of Thai aristocracy and direct descendant of Somdet Chao Phraya Borom Maha Prayurawongse. He served as Thailand's minister of foreign affairs for 10 years (1980-1990). In 1991, Savetsila was appointed as an advisor to the Monarchy of Thailand during the reign of the ninth and longest-reigning monarch King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX). Siddhi's mother was an offspring of the influential Bunnang family.
