Stormstrike is the name of a fictional character and third-party Transformer homage to Slipstream and Starscream created by Play With This Too. She is a member of the Striker Fleet.

Lost Protectors

Stormstrike is a characters in the Lost Protectors series by Play With This Too. Stormstrike is a member of the Striker Fleet. She wears an Aegis armor which is capable of interplanetary flight thanks to its Cosmoglider wings, which can also be changed into Cosmoshield that can deflect almost any attack. Her Battle Shroud mask protects her hearing and vision from overload by enemy attack. She wears a Babel Bracer which translates all languages and Tachyon Telegraph which can send and receive transmissions with an interplanetary range. Her Boost Boots allow hero to make bounding leaps. She has a Tech Drone Squire named R-Volt.

Development

She is an homage to Slipstream and her armor design is influenced by Pretender Starscream. R-Volt was named by Mathew Robert Ignash.

Stormstrike and Prince Carnos were among the stretch goals for the unsuccessful Lost Protectors Kickstarter campaign. They were to be unlocked if the campaign raised at least $380,000.[1]

In August 2015 Play With This Too released images of prototype parts for Jetstrike.

Her quote and title was written by Mathew Robert Ignash.

A 35mm figure and two Titan Master faces of Jetstrike were placed for sale on the Prize Inside Shapeways store in March 2017.

Fictional biography

Stormstrike is a member of the Striker Fleet. She wears a living Aegis battle suit powered by the primal forces of the universe. It grants her enhanced strength, durability, longevity and the ability the fly. Her suit also provides ultraviolet vision, breathable air and protection from harsh environmental conditions including under water and the vacuum of space. It has numerous weapons. She has a Tech Drone squire named R-Volt who turns into a double barreled blaster weapon.

A 1:48 scale figure of Jetstrike by Prize Inside. Available on their Shapeways store in a variety of colors. This version of the figure has Boneyard style shoulder pads and lower legs.[3]

A 1:12 scale articulated figure with interchangeable head and limbs. He has numerous 5mm connector ports. Comes with three heads (human, and two armored), helmet, three sets of hands (open, closed and middle finger extended), two 3-piece laser cannons, two wings with connector joints, two leg armor and two shoulder pads.
Stromstrike shares the same design as Cloudstrike, Faststrike, Flarestrike and Jetstrike.
One of the optional heads for Stormstrike shares a mold with Madwing and Leigh Muria.
Stormstrike shares some parts with Barbaricles, Baron Tuskador, Boneyard, Coleopterous, Concept, Gladiat-Ore, Impirator, Manvil Forgehead, Meanbean, Muscules, Rawbat, Sir Fangramore LeVenomous, Sir Pythanore, Stonebreaker, and Viper Squire.
