Stone is a Bangladeshi Progressive Metal & Alternative Rock band formed in 2006 in Chittagong by Shadat, Rana, Nizam, Forhad, Shujon .On 13th April 2013, Stone reformed with Shadat(Lead Guitar), Rafi(Bass), Ovi(Drums), Ajoy(Vocal) and Mithu(Guitar). They started their journey in the city of band music Chittagong. The band has also experimented with other genres of music over the years. Their journey began by covering the songs of various Bangladeshi and foreign popular bands. They participated in various concerts almost all over Bangladesh including Chittagong. They have also performed in various live TV shows including BTV Rock and Roll, Channel I Band Fest, Clear Present SA TV Live & many more.
They made their debut in mainstream band music in 2016 with the release of their first solo song 'Obosh Pralap'. After the release of the song, the first song was well received by the audience. In 2018, they released another song “Bhul Shopno” on their YouTube channel. The song was widely appreciated by their audience and critics alike. They released the song "Maa" on the "Gaan" audio streaming platform on Mother's Day on May 14th of the same year and later released it on the YouTube channel. Along with all these songs, in 2016 they started working on their first studio album “Obosh Pralap” at Funk Noodles Studio, Dhaka. Their album was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2022 they finished their album work. After a long wait, the band released “Alor Shihoron” & “Megh” from their debut album “Obosh Pralap” on November 2022.

History
Stone had numerous line-up changes since 2006. Past members are Rana (vocal), Shujon (Drums), Forhad (keys), Moni (Vocal), Imran (Bass),Rohel (Bass), Nizam (Bass), Badsha (Guitar). In 2010 some members changed, Shawon, Mithun, Rahat joined the band and it continued with new members till 2012. Then from 2012 to 2014, the band stopped all activities. On 13th April 2013, Stone reformed and Rafi(Bass), Ovi(Drums), Ajoy(Vocal), Mithu(Guitar) joined with Shadat(Lead Guitar). Since 2014, the members have remained unchanged.
