Hawk-like Walker/Sky Fighter

Speedtrap is a fictional character from the [[Starrior]s]] series in 1984. She is an evil member of the Destructors and can turn into a sky fighter.

Starriors

Speedtrap is an erratic Destructor Starrunner who can turn into a sky fighter.

Destructors are programmed to destroy mutants and invading aliens. Starrunners are search and destroy specialists who can turn from hawk-like walker to sky fighter.

Despite being called a sky fighter, the comics and box art depicts her as flightless in both forms. She lacks lasers and usually attacks opponents with his claw or by ramming them. She is usually considered the opposite number of the Protector Runabout.

Speedtrap: Erratic, danger-loving, high-speed, danger loving Starrunner.

Books

Speedtrap did not appear in Starriors Tunnel of Doom Odyssey I by published by Peter Pan. She was illustrated in a group shop on the back cover.

Comics

1984 Marvel Comics

Limited series

Speedtrap was a character in the Starriors limited series by Marvel Comics.

In the issue 3 story "Assault!" Slaughter Steelgrave sent Speedtrap to track down and destroy Runabout. The battle ended with both Starriors being knocked out when Speedtrap rammed the Strazor.

In issue 4 Slaughter used a transfer ring to revive Speedtrap. She was later defeated in combat by the Guardian Stinger.

Pack-in comics

In pack-in comic issue 1, "Deadeye", Backfire accidentally ran into Speedtrap as they battled the Protectors. Later when Cricket was injured, Speedtrap pleaded with Deadeye to stop firing at random.

Speedtrap in Starriors pack-in comic issue 2

In pack-in comic issue 2, "The Forest", Speedtrap spied on the Protectors and lead the Destructors to a forest where they ambushed the Protectors. During the battle Crank attacked Speedtrap for hurting the trees.

Hot Shot, Nipper, Runabout and Speed Trap are featured on the cover of pack-in comics issue 4, called "The Trap!". In the issue Speedtrap helped recover the body of the Protector Scooter after a battle. After Backfire's mind was transferred into Scooter, Speedtrap faked an attack on Scooter to convince Runabout that Scooter was escaping the Destructors.
